Don't downgrade to AS2! Actually learn to understand code. Once you do that you can easily translate code found in AS2 tutorials to AS3. AS3 is so much better than AS2 and besides AS2 is over a decade old and no longer supported by Adobe.

If you can, it might help if you use another program ( one that does have good tutorials )
But if you want to continue using actionscript 3.0, I'm afraid I can't help.. :(

Oddly enough, I actually did manage to find out how to make one with some tutorials, I just had to downgrade to actionscript 2.0. I still managed to get everything working though. Haven't decided whether or not I should post it here...
